We’ve overhauled our public build dashboards feature, making it easier to manage the dashboard links you’ve created. Dashboard links now display additional information, such as the filters used to create the dashboard, and you can give each dashboard an easily recognizable name.
Build dashboards are a convenient way to share builds and build artifacts with people outside Codemagic. Team owners can enable the feature in Team settings.
As of September 6, 2026, we are introducing the Xcode 26.6 build machines as our new default. Additionally, Xcode latest will be switched to 26.6.

We've updated our iOS Simulator and Android Emulator devices for app previews. The following new devices are now available:
We've also updated the default operating system versions. iOS previews now use iOS 26.x by default, while Android previews now use Android 16 by default.
If you have a large number of applications in Codemagic, you can now quickly find the one you need using the new search field. Instead of scrolling through your application list, simply enter the app name to locate it instantly.

When using Codemagic CLI tools for build versioning, you now have more control over build number lookup behavior.
We’ve added --version-string to app-store-connect get-latest-build-number to pin build number lookup to a specific version string across both App Store and TestFlight.
There’s also a new --all-versions flag for all app-store-connect get-latest-*-build-number actions. It scans across every version and returns the globally highest build number instead of the build number from the highest version. This can be useful for hot-fix flows where a lower marketing version may carry a higher build number.

React Native developers wanting to ship OTA updates can now activate CodePush in the UI.
Log in with or create a team account, go to the billing tab and enable your CodePush subscription. From there you can go to the OTA tab to create a key and manage projects.
Pricing is pay-as-you-go, of $1 per 2,500 installs. For large volumes, contact us about Fixed tiers based on monthly active users.
Codemagic CLI tools now support 11 additional languages for App Store Connect metadata. Because Codemagic builds use these tools under the hood, you can now automate metadata updates across all 50 locales supported by App Store Connect, making it easier to manage and scale your app’s global presence.

We’ve improved how personal and team apps are organized in Codemagic. You can now switch between your personal account and teams at the top of the page to see only the apps and resources relevant to that context, instead of viewing everything on shared pages.
This update provides a cleaner experience and faster page loading times.
We have introduced new /builds API endpoints that you can use in your scripts and integrations. See the API documentation here.
These endpoints now also serve our app frontend, delivering significant performance improvements compared to the old API—especially for teams with a large number of builds.
The new /builds endpoint is 71.2% faster and returns 98% smaller payloads.

To ensure that builds on Codemagic run with the highest levels of reliability and security, we are deprecating Linux build machines running Ubuntu 20.04.
Starting February 23, 2026, build machines running Ubuntu 20.04 will be removed from the pool, and Ubuntu 24.04 will become the new default for Linux builds.
During the transition period, we will conduct several brownouts during which builds will fail for users who have explicitly set 20.04 as the Ubuntu version in their codemagic.yaml. We strongly recommend migrating to Ubuntu 24.04 as soon as possible to avoid disruptions.
There will be no change for Flutter Workflow Editor users or for codemagic.yaml users who are using the default machine type until the default is switched. After that point, all Linux builds will run on Ubuntu 24.04.
Customers using a CodePush server managed by Codemagic gain access to comprehensive analytics covering monthly usage and detailed deployment insights.
You can now run your builds on Mac mini M4 for faster builds and improved performance. Select the machine in Flutter Workflow Editor or set mac_mini_m4 as the instance type in codemagic.yaml.
Mac mini M4 is available to teams and individual accounts on the Pay as you go plan.
